HR Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources department in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This position works closely with the HR Manager to assist in key areas such as recruitment, employee engagement, and the daily operations of the HR function. In addition to HR responsibilities, this role will also provide administrative support to other departments as needed, requiring strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset. This position is located in our New Hope, MN, manufacturing facility. This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
· Provide recruiting support for hourly Operations roles, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates
· Assist the HR Manager with onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
· Lead the Company Social Committee to plan and coordinate employee activities, celebrations, and events that foster a positive work culture
· Support benefit enrollment processes and respond to employee benefit inquiries
· Manage operations of the company employee store, including inventory and employee transactions
· Assist in the preparation, planning, and execution of quarterly all-employee meetings
· Develop and manage content for the internal company TV communication program
· Assist with planning and execution of employee training
· Support the HR Manager with general administrative and HR duties
General Administrative:
· Order and maintain office supply inventory for all departments
· Assist Customer Account Managers by preparing and sending customer sample packages
· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
· Ensure office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax machines) is in working order; arrange service or repairs as needed
· Prepare PowerPoint presentations and slides for various departments
· Provide general administrative support across departments as requested
Qualifications:
· Three (3) years Administrative Assistant experience supporting multiple departments as well as an Executive team
· 2 years recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
· High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred
· Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
· Demonstrated commitment to supporting a positive, employee-focused work environment
· Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· High attention to detail and problem solving skills
· Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
· Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Salary Range:
The expected range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. This range reflects various factors such as education, skills, work experience, certifications, and more. Therefore, the final compensation for the selected candidate may fall anywhere within this range.
Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. This position may include overtime hours. Work is to be performed onsite at our New Hope manufacturing facility.

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the day
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally (e.g., setting up for events, moving supplies)
· Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling office equipment
· Visual acuity required for reading documents, computer screens, and preparing presentations
· Occasional movement throughout the manufacturing facility, including up and down stairs or across production areas
· Must be able to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels
