MARKETING SPECIALIST
The Position
The Marketing Specialist will provide support & guidance to the Sales, Marketing, and New Product Development Teams. They will assist in the development and implementation of the marketing functions including but not limited to all sales and marketing collateral, tradeshow logistics, customer correspondence, social media, website support, focus groups and e-commerce support.
Role and Responsibilities
Coordinate graphic process for all packaging formats
Use software to perform photo editing for photos that will appear on marketing materials, sales presentations, website, email marketing, newsletters, and social media
Maintain, update, and publish customer pricing as needed
Collaborate with the sales team to provide creative sales presentations.
Plan trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements
Implement marketing campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales data; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating and manage campaign calendar
Assist with broker related marketing campaigns and duties including but not limited to website, email marketing (newsletters),
Develop and distribute promotional materials
Assemble and distribute sample requests from sales in finished and prototype packaging
Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share and trends, pricing, and advertising; maintain competitor databases
Assist with daily operation of sales and marketing requests ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
Provide support for all Sales Executives, Marketing Director, and New Product Development Manager.
Generate creative marketing and social media content to increase product awareness and brand relevance
Support new opportunities for marketing programs to attract new consumer entry-points.
Maintain content and manage product on e-commerce websites.
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Management and organization of shared marketing and sales drives
Online update of images, content, reviews, videos, etc. for Amazon, Walmart, Target.com, all OPD sites and RangeMe.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously
Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner
Able to communicate with executive level personnel
Demonstrated Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel & Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Project management experience delivering projects from ideation to execution
Success in a collaborative and creative environment
Education and/or Experience
4-year degree in Business/Marketing and/or relevant experience
3 + years of experience working with a sales team preferably in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environment
Physical Requirements
Sit for extended periods of time, ability to type, talk and communicate, visual ability to use a computer, move around facility, occasional lifting and bending.
Working Environment
· Typical office working conditions, inside, climate controlled.
This position is located in our New Hope, MN office. It is not a remote position.
