Processing Operator - 2nd Shift

The Position

The Processing Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of food processing equipment. Duties include reading work orders, weighing and measuring ingredients, verifying products, operating processing equipment such as oil roasters, mixing tumblers, hot panning, and enrobers, verifying product quality, and recording product moves with handheld scanner.

Hours: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. This position includes overtime hours.

Hourly rate: $19.50

Qualifications

This position requires a high attention to detail. Must be able to read and follow written instructions. Will be required to use scales to accurately weigh product. Prior food processing experience is highly desired.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and/or walk entire shift. Ability to lift 50# over shoulder height is required. Must be able to climb stairs. Ability to push and pull fully loaded manual pallet jacks is required.
